I believe people are relational and have a desire to grow, and that healing any trauma can assist in these goals.

- Linda Centurion, Somatic Therapist

Trauma literally reshapes both the brain and the body. Whenever we are chronically stressed, or face an overwhelming crisis or life event, all our body systems are affected. This can result in symptoms of anxiety, insomnia, poor digestion, chronic pain, irritability and poor concentration. It affects not only ourselves but those around us and radiates into every part of life.

Meet Linda

My intention is to support clients towards self-awareness, greater resilience and nervous system health.

Together, I will help you address the issues that keep you from living more fully and help move you toward an improved relationship with those around you, as well as within yourself.

As a Somatic Experiencing therapist, I use a body-centered approach and believe learning how to feel safe and settled is essential to change. Since our trauma is stored in our bodies’ tissues (primarily muscles and fascia) we can work together to locate and gently begin to unwind the trauma “from the inside out.”

I use a blend of other psychotherapy approaches such as attachment theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), client centered, Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness. My goal is to teach and empower you during our sessions, to help you learn to integrate these practices into your own life, thus allowing you to restore your nervous system’s ability to self-regulate.
